Leader in Automated Redaction Technology Announces New and Innovative SolutionCSI Provides Seamless Privacy Protection for Kofax PlatformsORLANDO, Fla. (May 2, 2007) - Computing System Innovations (CSI), a Kofax Platinum Certified Solutions Provider and leading provider of image processing and unstructured data recognition technology today announced the release of Document Redaction Server™ for Kofax (DRS). DRS provides seamless integration of CSI's leading intelligent redaction technology, IntelliDact®, into any existing Kofax environment to provide automated redaction of privacy information. CSI is setting another industry standard by taking its industry leading intelligent redaction technology, IntelliDact®, and creating the industry's first redaction virtual appliance. Completely self contained, DRS installs easily and integrates seamlessly with Kofax Ascent, Indicius, Xtrata-Pro and SOA environments to accurately redact privacy information from documents within any existing Kofax workflow. DRS rapidly redacts sensitive information from documents within Kofax workflows using a single CPU or hundreds of CPUs, depending on the customer's document workload. CSI's IntelliDact® employs sophisticated logic to properly identify documents and fields of interest from within anywhere on a document without requiring specification of zones where information might be found. Three advanced character-recognition engines (i.e. OCR, ICR, and voting) locate provided categories of information eligible for IntelliDact® to redact without user intervention. After processing, the original and redacted images, as well as redaction field locations, are available for further Kofax workflow processing or release to an ECM system or public web site. "CSI is excited to continue its working relationship with Kofax and providing CSI's intelligent redaction technology within Kofax's intelligent capture and exchange document framework," said Henry Sal, President of CSI. "IntelliDact has proven itself as consistently offering the most cost-effective high-volume, high accuracy redaction solution with the least amount of manual verification required and we are pleased to offer Kofax users the ability to quickly add such to their document processing." CSI has proven experience in rapid accurate redaction processing and validation of large quantities of documents for local and state government agencies. In 2006 and now into 2007, CSI customers will have processed more than 1/2 billion images for redaction using CSI's IntelliDact® solution.
